Mangaluru: Graduation ceremony of S C S College and Institute of Nursing Sciences held

Mangaluru, Mar 24: The graduation ceremony of SCS College and Institute of Nursing Sciences, was held on Tuesday, March 24, at St Sebastian Platinum Jubilee Hall, Bendoor, Mangaluru.

The programme began with an invocation dance followed by dignitaries lighting the lamp on the dias. The chief guest of the function Dr Leena K C, principal and dean, Faculty of Nursing, Yenepoya Nursing College, Mangaluru, addressed the graduates to continuously expand knowledge, strengthen communication and interpersonal skills, and stay updated with modern technology and emerging trends.

Dr Abhinay Sorake, secretary, SCS Group of Institutions was the presiding officer of the programme. Ashwini U, associate professor, welcomed the gathering. Dr Anil Kumar C M read the list of BSc & MSc graduates and Denzil D’Souza read the list of diploma holders.

Prof Lolita S M D’Souza, principal, administered the oath to the graduates and presented the annual report of the college. Dr Amarnath Sorake, founder president, Karnataka Educational & charitable Trust, U K Khalid, administrative officer, Sagar K, assistant administrative officer, SCS Group of Institutions were present on the occasion.

Delisha D’Souza compered the programme. Pramila H V, associate professor, delivered the vote of thanks. The cultural events were performed by the nursing students of the college.
