New Delhi, Mar 24: Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda on Tuesday called upon citizens to work collectively towards eliminating tuberculosis and ensuring better health for all, particularly the most vulnerable, on the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day.

In a social media post, the minister said India has made significant progress under the National TB Elimination Programme by strengthening efforts in prevention, early detection, and treatment of the disease.

Highlighting this year’s theme, “Yes! We Can End TB. Led by Bharat. Powered by Janbhagidari,” Nadda said it reflects the nation’s collective commitment and confidence in achieving a TB-free future.

Expressing gratitude to healthcare workers for their dedicated service and compassionate care, he urged citizens to contribute towards building a TB Mukt Bharat and ensuring a healthier, stronger nation.
