Accused refuses narco test in Goa job scam probe

Panaji, Mar 18: In a development in the ongoing job scam investigation, Goa Police sought permission from the court to conduct a narco analysis test on accused Pooja Naik.

The matter came up for hearing before the Judicial Magistrate First Class Court. During the proceedings, Pooja Naik refused to give her consent for the proposed narco test.

The request for the test was part of the police investigation into the alleged recruitment scam, with authorities seeking to use the procedure to gather further information related to the case. However, as the accused declined consent, the court will consider the legal position before taking any further decision.
