Mangaluru, Mar 6: The much-awaited LCS Club Finale 2026 was celebrated on March 4th with grandeur and enthusiasm at Lourdes Central School, marking the culmination of a year filled with creativity, learning, discipline, and talent. The event reflected the spirit of holistic education and showcased the vibrant achievements of various school clubs.
The programme commenced with the morning assembly and a serene prayer service, invoking God’s blessings. This was followed by a warm welcome to the chief guest Lavina Castelino, former staff member of LCS, the principal Fr Johnson L Sequeira, the vice principal Anita Thomas and Fr Arul Joseph.




































The thought for the day by member of eco club inspired the gathering with meaningful reflections. The significance of the day by the members of quiz bowl club highlighted the purpose of the of club activities in early learning stage.
An energetic Kannada Action Song performed by the students of grade 2 of the Chinnara Rangamancha brought liveliness to the stage, where children dressed as different animals came on stage and entertained the audience.
The event then moved into the presentation of detailed club reports and vibrant displays by the students of different clubs.
The senior anime club captivated the audience with insights into character creation, storytelling, and artistic expression inspired by popular anime characters like Naruto, Doraemon, Pikachu etc.
The knitting club demonstrated patience and skill through handmade creations crafted different materials. Students shared how they learnt different kinds of stitching like basic to hemming and displayed the handkerchiefs decorated on their own with different kinds of stitches.
The scouts and guides presented an impressive display on the theme Tulunada Vaibava where, the different cultures and celebrations of Tulunadu such as Yakshagana, Christmas, Duff by the Muslim students, and Kamabala were highlighted.
The junior anime club delighted everyone with the presentation where children wearing mask of different cartoon characters such as Masha, Doraemon, Nobita, Mickey Mouse, Jerry and Peppa Pig. Their presentation highlighted how young learners developed imagination, confidence, and artistic skills in them.
The cubs and bulbuls showcased values such as kindness, helping others, discipline, and respect. Through demonstrations and activities, they portrayed how these principles are practiced in daily life.
The herbal club enlightened the audience about medicinal plants, traditional remedies, and the importance of preserving nature. Students explained various herbs and their uses, promoting awareness about natural healing and called nature as the greatest Pharmacy.
The numismatics club fascinated everyone with a display of old stamps. Students explained The Numismatics Club as the journey through history and also highlighted about the stamp making activity.
presented intricate paper creations, reflecting precision, creativity, and patience. Their display illustrated how simple paper can transform into beautiful artistic forms.
The junior red cross club highlighted humanitarian values, first-aid training, and social service initiatives undertaken during the year. Their activities emphasized compassion, readiness to help, and community welfare. The main highlight of the report was the trekking expedition of the students to Konaje Kallu.
The chief guest address added prestige to the occasion. The dignitary appreciated the dedication of students and efforts of the teachers. She also congratulated the club coordinators, and encouraged students to continue developing their talents beyond academics through various club activities.
A joyful moment followed with birthday wishes followed by the birthday song, celebrating members of the school family and strengthening the sense of unity.
The principal’s address was a source of inspiration. The principal applauded the efforts of the club mentors, teaching and non-teaching staff, and most importantly, the students who actively participated in various club activities. The address emphasized character building, leadership, and experiential learning as essential elements of education.
The programme concluded with a sincere vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, the principal, the vice principal, staff, students, and everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The programme was mastered by the members of toastmasters club.
The celebration ended with the School Anthem sung, symbolizing unity and pride.
