Merit Day celebrated with academic honours at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Feb 24: St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru, organised the Merit Day Programme on Saturday, February 21 in the Mother Mary Centenary Auditorium.

Akshatha Shetty, assistant professor, department of MCA, welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest Dr Kavitha, regional joint director for Collegiate Education Mangaluru. This was followed by 'Synergy of Steps', a dance performance by students.

Chief guest Dr Kavitha, in her address congratulated the students for their spectacular dance performance and appreciated the younger generation (Gen Z) for their energy, talent and potential.

Dr Kavitha, Sr Dr Venissa AC the principal and Sr Dr Vinora AC the PG coordinator honoured the students with the scholarships and merit certificates for those who excelled in academics and were appreciated for their hard work and dedication.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Ashwini, assistant professor, PG department of psychology and the programme was compared by Dr Meera, associate professor of history.
