Kundapur: Moodalakatte Allied Health Sciences Colleges hold joint sports meet

Kundapur, Feb 18: The Colleges of Allied Health Sciences, Physiotherapy, and Paramedical Sciences at Moodalakatte jointly organized their annual sports meet on February 14, with enthusiastic participation from students.

The event was inaugurated by chief guest Pranav L Achar, a national karate player and senior talent acquisition HR at RSM Institution. Addressing the students, he delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the importance of physical activity in today’s mobile-driven era. He emphasized that schools and colleges must allocate dedicated time for sports and physical activities. Sharing insights on the path to success and achievement, he noted that discipline, hard work, and self-confidence are the true foundations of success.

Dean Dr Prof Padmacharan Swain elaborated on the significance of sports in shaping students’ overall development and extended his best wishes to all participants. Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, Brand Building director of IMJ Institutions, encouraged students to give equal importance to sports alongside academics.

Principal Prof Hemalatha, vice principal Soujanya, physical education director Praveen Kharvi, and programme coordinator Sushma Upadhya were present on the occasion.

The programme was compered efficiently by student Tasfia. The welcome address was delivered by Sindhu, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Nandini.
