Bahrain, Feb 14: Saud Kutam Bahrain celebrated the Shirva parish feast with great enthusiasm and togetherness on February 5 at the Hotel Indian Darbar Bahrain. The event brought together members of the Shirva community, creating a true feeling of home away from home.

The celebration began with a warm welcome by MC Adeline Monis, who set the tone for an engaging and lively evening. This was followed by an opening prayer led by Santosh Danthy, invoking blessings for the gathering.

The MC then invited the core committee members—Rony Norbert Pinto, Manesh Menezes, Jeevan Martis, Santosh Danthi and Wilroy D’Souza—to the stage. Rony Pinto formally welcomed the audience, expressing gratitude for the strong community participation. The vote of thanks was delivered by Manesh Menezes, acknowledging everyone who contributed to the success of the event.

Jeevan Martis carried out a special felicitation ceremony to honor the well-wishers of Saud Kutam Bahrain: Benny & Jacintha Barboza, Paul Quadras, Anthony Dias, and Raymond Kishore D’Souza, in appreciation of their continued support.

The cultural segment of the evening featured melodious performances by Ronald Fernandes, Riva Pinto, Anisha Mendonca and Renisha Mendonca, which were well received by the audience. A vibrant dance performance by Ronel Pinto, Warren Aranha, Alvia D’Souza & Raizel Menezes added energy and colour to the celebrations.

Throughout the evening, MC Adeline Monis kept the members and guests actively engaged with interactive games and dance activities, ensuring a joyful and inclusive atmosphere. The music segment was smoothly carried forward by DJ Valentino, who kept the mood lively and upbeat.

Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner served by Hotel Indian Darbar, after which the celebration concluded on a high note with a traditional Baila dance, bringing everyone to the floor in a spirit of unity and joy.
