All-party condolence meeting held in Jogeshwari for Ajit Pawar

Mumbai, Feb 6: An all-party condolence meeting was organised on Friday evening at the G B Pant Foundation auditorium at Meghwadi in Jogeshwari East to pay tribute to former Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, who passed away recently.

The condolence meeting was organised on behalf of the Jogeshwari East assembly constituency under the leadership of NCP (Sharad Pawar) Mumbai regional vice president Chitrapu Lakshman C Poojary and his son, NCP-SP youth leader and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation K East ward committee member Niranjan Lakshman Poojary.

Addressing the gathering, Niranjan L Poojary said that Ajit Pawar’s untimely demise was an irreparable loss to national and Maharashtra politics. He said the all-party condolence meeting was organised to pay homage to the departed leader and to collectively express grief and respect.

The condolence meeting was coordinated by Gajanan Lad, Vinay Salvi, Kanchan Salunkhe, and Abhishek Kadam, along with members of the All-Round Ajit Dada Lovers team.

Jogeshwari East MLA Anant Bala Nar (Shiv Sena–UBT), BMC corporators Ajit Balakrishna Rane (Dindoshi), Shivani Shailesh Parab (Shankarwadi), Mansi Madhukar Juvatkar (Shiv Sena–UBT), Vidya Bharat Arya (MNS), Lona R Rawat (D’Souza), Chitrapu Lakshman C Poojary, several political leaders, and prominent citizens were present and paid floral tributes to the departed soul.
