Kundapur, Feb 6: Dr S N Bhat, academic director of IMJ Educational Institutions, Moodlakatte, Kundapura, recently conducted a two-day workshop on 'Outcome-Based Education (OBE)' for around 200 professors of the Central University of Karnataka, Kalaburagi.

Drawing from his decades of academic and administrative experience, Dr S N Bhat delivered an in-depth and insightful training session on the core principles of OBE, including outcome formulation, mapping of course and programme outcomes, assessment methodologies, and systematic calculation of outcome attainment.

The workshop provided faculty members with practical clarity on implementing OBE frameworks effectively in higher education institutions, in line with national and global accreditation standards.

Participants appreciated the structured approach and real-time examples shared during the sessions, which helped them better understand outcome measurement and continuous improvement processes in teaching and learning.
