Mumbai, Jan 30: The inauguration of the auspicious 24-episode Tala Maddale series titled ‘Sri Rama Katha Hridayam’ will be held on Sunday, February 1, at 3.00 pm at the Sri Ambika Adinatheshwara Ganapati Temple, Gandhevi, Vidyavihar (West), Mumbai.
The programme is being jointly organised by Sri Ramabhivandya Yaksha Seva Balaga, Mumbai, and the Kannada Department of Mumbai University. The series aims to present the complete story of Sri Rama, beginning from the advent of Lord Ramachandra and concluding with the divine departure of the Lord.




With the blessings of Sri Krishnaky Yatikula Chakravarti Pejavashri Vishweshatirtha Swamiji, the inaugural presentation of the series, titled ‘Putra Kameshti – Sri Rama Janana’, will be ceremonially launched by Jagadguru Sri Madhwacharya Maha Samsthana, Udupi, Sri Pejavara Adhokshaja Mathadheesha Pejavarashri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji, who will grace the occasion with his divine presence and formally inaugurate the programme.
The auspicious beginning of the 24-episode Tala Maddale series will take place with the blessings of the chief priest of Sri Ambika Adinatheshwara Temple, Vidyavihar, Sri Haridas Bhat Pernankila, and with the cooperation of the temple’s administrative moktesar Haridas Shetty.
The chief organisers of the Tala Maddale programme, Vasu Marnad and Suresh Nandrolli, have appealed to Yakshagana artistes and art lovers from across Greater Mumbai to attend the event in large numbers and extend their wholehearted support to make the programme a success.
