Mangaluru: Health camp held at Srinivas College of Pharmacy

Mangaluru, Jan 27: This initiative focuses on free medical checkups, screening and early detection of common ailments like diabetes, hypertension and other forms of diseases may reduce early mortality and to create stable healthy society said by Dr Naveen, Dept of General Medicine, Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Mukka, Surathkal during the free health camp, as a part of National Pharmacy week 2025-26 organised by NSS Unit of Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangaluru in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Association, D K District, Local Branch, Mangaluru & Srinivas institute of medical sciences & research centre, Mukka, Surathkal on January 23.

The health camp is also a creative initiation and guidance by Dr A R Shabaraya, programme convener of National Pharmacy Week 2025-26, principal & director, Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangaluru.

Guest of honours, Dr Nihal Rai, dept of Dermatology, Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Mukka, Surathkal, Dr. Srikirthi, Dept. of Ophthalmology, Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Mukka, Surathkal. Dr Kumara Prasad SA, professor, Srinivas College of Pharmacy & vice president, Indian Pharmaceutical Association, D.K District Local Branch, Mangaluru, NSS programme officer, Dr Shripathy D, professor, SCP introduced and welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of health camp. Dr Padmavathi P Prabhu, professor, SCP & coordinator of Pharmacy week, faculty members and NSS coordinators were present during the programme.

Vanditha, asst professor anchored the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
