Srinivas College of Pharmacy celebrates 'Pharmacy Week 2025-26'

Mangaluru, Jan 22: “Pharmacists are honoured as first point of contact for his par excellence in healthcare,” by chief guest, Arun Kumar Shetty, president, SKDCDA, Mangaluru while inaugurating the programme by lighting the lamp during National Pharmacy Week- 2025-26 with theme 'Pharmacists as Advocates of Vaccination' at Srinivas College of Pharmacy Valachil campus in association with Indian Pharmaceutical Association, DK district local branch, Mangaluru from January 21 to 24. Arun Kumar Shetty, president, SKDCDA, Mangaluru flagged off the Pharma Rally on theme: 'Drug Abuse Awareness'.

Rajendra Jain, pharmacist, Jain Medico Groups, B C Road was felicitated in recognition of her services in community pharmacy. He advised the students to dream big to give more to society and promote and dedicate yourself to serve the society.

Dr AR Shabaraya, programme convener of National Pharmacy Week 2025-26, principal & director, Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, Mangaluru highlighted about the Pharmacy Week Celebration and called the students to know their responsibility and develop leadership qualities through activities to serve the society and reach the top.

Dr Padmavathi P Prabhu, professor introduced and welcomed the guests. Dr Viresh K Chandur, professor, readout the citation of Rajendra Jain. Anvitha D K & Dr Dhanya Bappanad anchored the programme. Dr Kumara Prasad S A, professor, SCP, vice president, IPA, DK district local branch, Mangaluru proposed vote of thanks.
