SMVITM NSS unit inaugurates six-day special camp at Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Jan 20: The NSS unit of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institution inaugurated a six-day National Service Scheme (NSS) Special Camp on January 19 at Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru.

The camp will continue until January 24 and is being organized with the active participation of around 300 NSS volunteers.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Swami Jitakamanandaji, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Mangaluru, who formally inaugurated the camp and addressed the volunteers. In his inaugural address, Swamiji emphasized the importance of discipline, service to society, and character building among students.

Sachin Prabhu, NSS officer of SMVITM, along with the office bearers of the NSS committee, was present during the inauguration ceremony.

The camp aims to inculcate social responsibility, leadership qualities, and community service values among the student volunteers through various activities planned during the six days.
