Mangaluru, Jan 17: St Agnes CBSE School scripted a proud sporting achievement at Aloysian Games 2026, organised by St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), under the theme ‘Building Bonds Through Games.’ The event, held on January 9 and 10, witnessed enthusiastic participation from several institutions, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork and competitive excellence.

Badminton emerged as a highlight of the tournament for St Agnes CBSE School, with an exceptional display of skill and determination. Thasvi S K (VIII C) distinguished herself as a star performer, exhibiting remarkable focus, tactical awareness and consistency. She secured the gold medal in badminton singles in the High School category, outperforming strong contenders through disciplined and confident play.

In addition to her singles triumph, Thasvi S K (VIII C), partnering with Manvi Fernandes (VIII D), delivered a commanding performance in the badminton doubles event. The pair demonstrated excellent coordination and resilience, clinching the Gold Medal and top honours in the doubles category. Their combined efforts further elevated the school’s standing in the tournament. Together, these achievements resulted in a total haul of three Gold Medals for St Agnes CBSE School, marking a memorable success at Aloysian Games 2026 and underscoring the school’s commitment to nurturing sporting talent.
