TECHTIDE 2026: Exploring future through robotics and AI at St Theresa’s School

Mangaluru, Jan 10: St Theresa’s School, Bendur, successfully organised TECHTIDE, a vibrant robotics and artificial intelligence Exhibition, on Saturday January 10, in the new school building. The exhibition showcased the creativity, curiosity, and technical expertise of the students and captivated all who visited.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Sr Shaila, the school correspondent. The principal, Sr Lourdes, addressed the gathering and commended the students for their remarkable innovation, teamwork, and effort. Centred on the theme 'Robots in Motion, Future in Action', TECHTIDE featured an impressive collection of student-designed models and working prototypes.

The highlights of the exhibition included a Smart Tap designed to conserve water, Smart Goggles developed for enhanced safety and assistance, and an Electronic Voting Machine demonstrating secure and efficient voting processes. Interactive exhibits such as the Basketball Counter and detailed Electronic Circuits reflected the students’ strong understanding of automation and electronics.

The exhibition also presented innovative solutions aimed at sustainable living. These included smart home models, an autonomous car model illustrating automation in transport, a river cleaning gadget addressing environmental concerns, an automated street light system promoting energy conservation, and an E-Trolley encouraging eco-friendly transportation.

The encouraging presence of the dignitaries and teachers greatly motivated the students, making TECHTIDE a truly enriching and memorable learning experience. The exhibition successfully highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing scientific temper, innovation, and future-ready skills among its students.
