Mumbai, Jan 7: Vijay S Shetty Panakaje, general secretary of the Mumbai BJP South Indian Cell and managing director of Baba’s Hospitality and Food Services, called on and felicitated the Chief Justice Chandrashekar, the incumbent and 49th Chief Justice of the Bombay high court, regarded as one of the most distinguished judges in the Indian judiciary.

Vijay Shetty also conveyed his New Year greetings to the chief justice during the meeting.

Justice Chandrashekar has an illustrious judicial career, having served as a judge of the Bombay high court and the Rajasthan high court. He has also rendered services as a judge and acting chief justice of the Jharkhand high court. He was appointed as a judge of the Bombay high court by the President of India, Droupadi Murmu.

The interaction reflected mutual respect and recognition of Justice Chandrashekar’s significant contribution to the Indian judicial system, with Vijay Shetty Panakaje acknowledging his exemplary service and leadership in the judiciary.
