Mangaluru, Dec 29: Bank of Maharashtra marked a significant milestone with the grand inauguration of its Ullal branch on Monday, December 29, expanding its banking network in Dakshina Kannada district.
The inauguration ceremony was formally conducted by Dr U T Khader, Hon’ble Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, who cut the ribbon and lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the commencement of banking operations at the new branch. The event was held at the branch premises located on the ground floor of Barkie House, Thokkottu–Ullal Main Road, Ullalbail, Ullal.
The programme was attended by Prof Dr U T Ithikar, chairman, Karnataka State Allied & Healthcare Council; Allen C A Pereira, former chairman and managing director of Bank of Maharashtra; Sam Arul Ambarasan, branch manager; Sucheth M D’Souza, zonal manager, Hubballi zone, along with other dignitaries, bank officials, staff members, and local residents.
