Srinivas University hosts ‘Kalasapandana 2025–26’ at Mukka Campus

Mangaluru, Dec 26: Srinivas University Institute of Engineering and Technology organised The Kalasapandana 2025–26 programme on December 23 at Srinivas University, Mukka campus.

Presiding over the programme, Srinivas University vice-chancellor Dr K Satyanarayana Reddy stated that the land, language, and culture of Karnataka should continue to flourish, and emphasized the need to preserve and promote the Kannada language and proudly pass it on to future generations.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ramakrishna N Hegde, dean of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, remarked that while learning other languages is important, one should not forget the mother tongue, Kannada.

The chief guest, Agari organization's Agari Raghavendra Rao, said that Kannadigas themselves must take the lead in preserving the Kannada language and its culture.

Dr Praveen B M, director of the Research Department, Srinivas University, and Dr Jayashree Bolar, pro registrar, Srinivas University were present at the event.

Prof Shrinath Rao welcomed the gathering, and Dr Asha Saraswati proposed a vote of thanks. Students Karisiddesh M R and Monika K R compered the programme.
