Dammam, Dec 22: The much-awaited MASA Sports Day 2025 was held on Friday, December 5, at the scenic Area 91 Farm House, Dammam, bringing together MASA members and guests from across the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The event was filled with fun, enthusiasm, and a vibrant spirit of sportsmanship, making it a truly memorable evening for all.
The programme commenced with members grouped into four houses. President Praveen P Aranha inaugurated the event with an inspiring message, encouraging participants to play with true sporting spirit. Vice president Ameer Hussain welcomed the gathering and led a warm-up session before announcing the lineup of individual and group games.

































The event was graced by the presence of executive committee members:
Niranjan Karkera, Roshan Kotian Naveen Shetty, Ajith Kumar, Roopesh Suvarna, Harish Kumar Poojary, Balakrishna Shetty, Subramanya Rao, Sandeep Shetty, Salim Puttur, Usman Hosangadi, Vijay D’Sa along with advisory committee members Narendra Shetty, Sadashiv Poojary, Naveen Bhandary, Sathish Kumar Bajal and Gopal Shetty. Their active involvement ensured smooth coordination throughout the evening.
A wide range of games were organized for different age groups from cap races, ball collection, and frog races for kids to long jump, shot put, dodgeball, lemon-and-spoon race, and tug-of-war for adults. The competitions were intense, with each house striving to secure maximum points. Volunteers and organizing teams worked tirelessly to ensure seamless execution of events.
Highlights of the day
Green House emerged as the house champion, followed by Blue House as the first runner-up and Yellow House as the second runner-up.
Individual winners were honored with medals for first, second, and third positions in each event.
Group games like tug of war and dodgeball added excitement and team spirit to the evening.
The pleasant weather, professional organization, and delicious snacks and dinner contributed to the success of the event. Sponsors, including Artland Transport Company, Intermodal SA, and Najeeb Al Hajri, along with several MASA members, were acknowledged for their generous support.
