Udupi, Dec 20: Christ School celebrated its annual day for the academic year 2025–26 with great zeal and splendour on the theme “Family Ties – Bonded in Love, Rooted in Joy.”
The programme began with a dignified guard of honour led by the school band, followed by the procession of dignitaries including the chief guest Fr Charles Menezes, correspondent Fr Romeo Lewis, principal Eliza Vaz, the head boy and head girl, PPC vice president Lawrence D’Almeida, secretary Alwyn Saldanha, PPC members, and the managing committee.
































The evening was set on a reverent note with the school choir’s rendition of the School Anthem, after which Reshma Suares extended a warm welcome.
A felicitation ceremony, conducted by Cyrilla Lobo, honoured students for excellence in academics and athletics, including the class 10 toppers of the academic year 2024–25. The chief guest was introduced by Sumalatha, felicitated by the managing committee members, and delivered an inspiring address urging students to uphold strong family values and strive for excellence.
The presidential address was delivered by the correspondent Fr Romeo Lewis, highlighting the importance of values within families, followed by the annual report presented by the principal Eliza Vaz, highlighting achievements in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. The formal programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the head boy, Master Nishan KM, and head girl, AifaMaisera khanum.
The cultural programme that followed showcased students’ talents through dance, drama, music, and melodious carol singing by the school choir, portraying themes of family bonding, love, childhood, culture, and tradition. The celebration stood as a reflection of Christ School’s commitment to holistic education, nurturing academic excellence, cultural awareness, and moral values.
