Mangaluru, Dec 18: Two bike riders were seriously injured in a collision between a car and a motorcycle near Kuthar, within the Ullal police station limits, late Wednesday night.

The injured have been identified as Nikhil and Gagan Jeet, residents of Vamanjoor and Deralakatte respectively.

According to preliminary information, the motorcycle on which the duo were travelling reportedly went out of control and rammed into the rear of an oncoming car.

 

The impact of the collision threw both riders onto the road, causing them severe injuries. They were immediately shifted to a private hospital in Deralakatte for treatment.

A case in this connection has been registered at the Mangaluru Rural traffic police station, and further investigation is underway.
