Mangaluru: Odisha labourer goes missing from boat on Phalguni River

Mangaluru, Dec 4: A labourer from Odisha, Suresh Majhi (27), went missing from a boat anchored along the Phalgu?i River near Sultan Bathery on December 3, while working with other labourers.

The boat had been anchored since December 1 and carried 29 workers. Around 1:30 am on December 3, the workers informed the boat in-charge, Prashanth, that Suresh was missing. Prashanth immediately lodged a complaint with the Barke police station.

Suresh is described as approximately 5 feet tall, with a wheatish complexion and an average build. He is fluent in Hindi and Odia. At the time of disappearance, he was wearing a black T-shirt and blue pants.

Police have requested anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Barke police station.
