Puttur, Dec 1: The body of Badruddin D K (29), who had been missing since Sunday, November 30, was found in a forest area near Sediayapu on Monday, December 1 morning.

He was employed at a chicken centre in Padeel.

It is suspected that he died by suicide due to financial distress. His body was found hanging a day after he was reported missing.

Badruddin was unmarried and is survived by his mother, elder brother, elder sister, younger brother and younger sister.

A case has been registered at Puttur police station, and investigation is underway.
