Mumbai, Dec 1: Actress and dancer Sudha Chandran expressed deep grief over the passing of Bollywood legend Dharmendra, who died on November 24 at the age of 89. Sharing a video song from her film Tehelka, in which she starred alongside the late superstar, Chandran conveyed her heartbreak on social media.

“8 days today...par dil hai ki Manta hi nahi....I’m feeling so blessed that I belong to that era and industry where Dharam Ji was, is and forever is the most handsome he-man of India ...so honoured that I could share screen space with Dharam Sir...luv u sir, and it’s so difficult to accept this reality...koshish bahut ki par nahi ho raha hai (Trying hard but it’s just impossible),” she wrote.

Dharmendra’s death sent shockwaves across India and the Bollywood fraternity. Prominent actors, including Jeetendra, Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan, Varun Dhawan, Jackky Bhagnani, Rakul Preet Singh, Ajay Devgn, and Allu Aravind, visited the Deol family to offer condolences.

The legendary actor, fondly called the “He-Man” of Bollywood, had faced breathing difficulties in mid-November and was placed on a ventilator before being discharged home for continued treatment. His demise marks the end of an era in Indian cinema.
