Udupi: Full-scale mock drill conducted ahead of PM Modi’s visit to Sri Krishna Math

Udupi, Nov 27: A full-scale mock drill was held on Thursday as part of the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Udupi on November 28. The rehearsal began at the Adi Udupi helipad, featuring a convoy simulation that passed through key locations before concluding at Sri Krishna Math.

Udupi deputy commissioner Swaroopa T K, superintendent of police Hariram Shankar, SPG personnel, and other officers supervised the exercise. They inspected security deployment, crowd-control systems, route arrangements, and emergency response readiness across the Math premises and surrounding areas.

During the inspection, the Diwan of Paryaya Sri Puttige Math briefed the officials on the arrangements being made around the Math, explaining the movement layout, visitor management, and preparations within the temple vicinity.
