Udupi, Nov 26: Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management witnessed the launch of its first Center of Excellence established by Alar Innovations Pvt Ltd, marking a significant step towards strengthening innovation, and industry-academia collaboration

The Alar Center of Excellence was inaugurated at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology & Management on November 22.

The CoE was formally launched by Rathnakumar, secretary, SSVMET, in the presence of Dr Radhakrishna Aithal (CEO) - Sode Group of Institutions, Dr Nagaraj Bhat - in charge principal, Dr Niranjan U C - director of Manipal Dot Net, Dr Shrihari Upadhayaya - former CEO, MUTBI, Manipal, Tilottama Srinivas - founder, Engyana Consultancy, Bengaluru and Dr Sachin S Bhat - founder and managing director of Alar Innovations.

The Center of Excellence aims to strengthen the institute’s innovation ecosystem by enabling hands-on research, prototype development, and industry-academia collaboration. Dr Radhakrishna Aithal and Dr Sachin Bhat conveyed their best wishes, noting that it will serve as a dedicated hub for students and researchers to tackle real-world technological challenges with strong mentorship—echoing institute's vision of empowering young engineers through innovations.
