Mangaluru, Nov 21: Sahakara Rathna Anil Lobo, chairman of MCC Bank Ltd, was honoured with the prestigious Taulava Sahakari Maanikya Award 2025 at a ceremony held at Tulu Bhavana Siri Chavadi, Urva Store on November 16. The award was jointly conferred by Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike (R) and Tulunadu Soorya Patrike as part of the 72nd Sahakara Sapthaha celebrations, in recognition of Anil Lobo’s outstanding contribution to the growth and development of MCC Bank Ltd.

The function was presided over by Yogish Shetty, founder president, Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike. The occasion was graced by Swasthi Shri Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of Jain Math Moodbidri, Shri Shivayogi Durgananda Swamiji of Shiva Durgamba Math Madoor, Krishna Palemar, former minister and Vedavyas Kamath, MLA, Mangaluru South.

As a mark of honour, Sahakara Rathna Anil Lobo, chairman of the bank was felicitated with a shawl, bouquet, memento and the award citation.

Several distinguished personalities were present at the event, including Kishore Alva, president & executive director, Adani Group; A C Bhandari, president, All India Tulu Okkoota; Doninje Guttu Pramod Kumar Rai, president & Gadikar, Dhrmavalokana; Mohanagangaiah Sami, president, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Research & Development Trust; Kiran Budleguttu, president, Kedambadi Ramaiah Gowda Memorial Committee; Raghavendra Rao, president, Advocates Cell, Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike and Franki D’Souza, district president, Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike, Udupi district.

The organisers and dignitaries commended Anil Lobo for his visionary leadership and his dedicated efforts in strengthening the cooperative banking sector in the region.

A felicitation programme was organised by the staff members and the board of directors of MCC Bank Ltd at the head office board room on November 17 and 20 respectively to honour Sahakara Rathna Anil Lobo, chairman of MCC Bank Ltd, on his being conferred the prestigious Taulava Sahakari Maanikya Award 2025 presented by Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike (R) and Tulunadu Soorya Patrike as part of the 72nd Sahakara Sapthaha celebrations held on November 16.

During the programme, Anil Lobo was felicitated with a shawl, bouquet and memento as a gesture of appreciation and respect.

In his response, Sahakara Rathna Shri Anil Lobo expressed heartfelt gratitude and stated that the recognition was a collective achievement of the directors and every member of the staff, whose dedication has been instrumental in the bank’s progress. He encouraged the team to continue their committed efforts to elevate MCC Bank Ltd. to even greater heights and bring further laurels to the institution in the years ahead. He also thanked the directors and staff for organising the thoughtful felicitation ceremony.

Elroy K Crasto, director, speaking on the occasion on behalf of all the directors, expressed happiness over the well-deserved recognition of the commendable work done by the chairman of the bank.

The programme was compered by Roshan Madtha, who highlighted that it was a proud moment for the entire bank, as Anil Lobo was one among the ten eminent personalities honoured during the 72nd Sahakara Sapthaha celebrations.
