Mangaluru: Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology, to organise 'Inspire - 25'

Mangaluru, Nov 18: Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology is organising a state-level techno cultural & sports fest “Inspire 2025” for the PU students on Saturday, November 22 at Mukka Campus, with the objective of providing a platform for Pre-University (PU) students to showcase their talents.

H H Rajeshwari, deputy director of the Department of Pre-University Education, Dakshina Kannada District, will be the chief guest and will inaugurate the "Inspire 2025" event.

Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University, will preside over the programme.

Dr A Srinivas Rao, pro-chancellor of Srinivas University, will participate as the guest of honour.

Members of the board of governors of Srinivas University - A Vijayalakshmi R Rao and Prof Er Mithra S Rao, along with university officials including Dr K Satyanarayana Reddy (vice-chancellor), Dr Aditya Kumar Maiya (registrar – Academic & Development), Dr Anil Kumar (registrar), Dr Srinivasa Maiya D (registrar - Evaluation), Dr Ajay K G (registrar - Development), Dr Ramakrishna N Hegde (dean, SUIET Mukka), Prof Vishwas C Shetty (program coordinator, Inspire-25), and student coordinators Vishwas S Nayak and Hiba Fatima will also be present.

Dean of the college, Dr. Ramakrishna N Hegde said that more than 800 students from over 75 PU colleges across Karnataka are expected to participate in various competitions at Inspire 2025.

Under the Technical category, events such as Idea Pitching, Science Quiz and Science Model (Exhibition) have been organised. The sports category includes Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton and Chess. The cultural category includes Reels Making (Theme: Karnataka Vaibhava), Treasure Hunt, Music (Vocal) and Collage Making (Theme: Save Earth) competitions. Attractive cash prizes, certificates and trophies will be awarded to the winners.

With the aspiration of making this technical, cultural and sports fest successful and memorable, we kindly request your support in providing wide media coverage for the INSPIRE-25 event.
