Mangaluru: Srinivas University felicitates Bajpe Zakaria for Karnataka Rajyotsava Award

Mangaluru, Nov 18: A special felicitation ceremony was held by Srinivas University on November 18 at Hotel Srinivasa in honour of the popular businessman and social leader Bajpe Zakaria, who has received the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award 2025.

After receiving the honour, he said, "It is my dream to make Mangaluru Switzerland. I consider my workers as my family. Today health, education, tourism sector is given high priority and employment sector is in demand." 

Honourable chancellor of Srinivas University Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao presided over the programme and said that high level education and practical education is required for industry sector which is being provided in the university. "We are proud that our students are doing duty in every corner of the world," he said.

Srinivas University vice-chancellor Dr A Srinivasa Rao said that Bajpe Zakaria's contribution to the society was immense and he was congratulated for the Karnataka Rajyotsava award. He wished that he would contribute more to the society and that more people would be influenced by him and do social service.

Srinivasa University vice chancellor Dr K Satyanarayana Reddy, registrar Dr Anil Kumar, evaluation registrar Dr Srinivasa Mayya D., development registrar Dr Ajay Kumar, finance officer Prof Arpan Bhatta L and deans and professors of various institutes were present.
