Beltangady: Painter dies after fall from 18 feet

Beltangady, Nov 18: A painter who had sustained critical injuries after falling from a height of about 18 feet succumbed on Monday while undergoing treatment.

The deceased has been identified as Pramod Gowda, 37, a resident of Renjala in Ujire.

 

He had fallen during a painting job about a month ago, suffering a severe spinal fracture. He was admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru, where he had been receiving treatment.

He is survived by his wife and daughter.

    Sad Heartfelt sympathies to young family.May his soul rest in peace.How he fell down during painting?Thats the problem when one works independently and something happens injury or long time in bed .even death ,family is left alone.Who will help family now to educate that girL?Sad.

    Safety standards are very very poor.especialky working at heights .. No work and safety equipments used .. Today there are very many safety equipments but for small savings lives are risked No accountability or liability for employers .. It is very sad a family has lost a main anchor.. bread winner ..
