Mangaluru, Nov 18: In the AICS inter-school basketball tournament for girls, “Basket Bash”, hosted by Cambridge School, Mangaluru on November 15, the U-14 and U-17 girls’ teams of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, shone with remarkable dedication, discipline, and teamwork.

The U-14 girls’ team clinched the championship title, while the U-17 girls’ team secured the first runner-up position, showcasing commendable grit and sportsmanship.

Adding to the glory, Anna Lobo of grade VIII was awarded the most valuable player, recognising her exceptional talent and stellar on-court performance.

The school management, principal and staff have expressed immense pride in these achievements and extended heartfelt congratulations to the players.
