Mangaluru, Nov 12: Exhibiting grace, speed, and outstanding sportsmanship, the young skaters of St Agnes School (CBSE), Mangaluru, glided their way to victory at the district selection trials organised by the Dakshina Kannada Roller Sports Association, affiliated to the Karnataka Roller Skating Association, held at Francis Doris Skate City, Mangaluru, on October 25 and 26. The championship witnessed spirited participation from across the district, with the Agnite skaters delivering stellar performances on the rink and road tracks.
Krithi S Aithal, a student of grade IV, showcased exceptional skill in the under-8 to 10 girls category, winning two gold medals in the one lap rink race and 500m rink race, along with a silver medal in the one lap road race. Her commendable performance earned her qualification for the 41st state selection trials to be held in Bengaluru in November.








Aarvi Raj Shetty of grade VI D demonstrated remarkable agility and focus, securing gold medals in the one lap rink race and one lap road race, in addition to a silver medal in the 2.5 lap rink race, showcasing her consistency and determination. Her stellar performance secured her a place in the 41st state selection trials scheduled to be held in Bengaluru in November.
Adriel Joanna D’Souza of grade VII B displayed grit and composure, clinching three bronze medals in the five-lap rink race, one lap road race, and 1.5 lap road race, proving her commitment and perseverance in every event she participated in.
The achievements of these young skaters stand as a proud reflection of their hard work, discipline, and passion for the sport.
