Mangaluru, Nov 10: The Parish Pastoral Council of St Theresa Church, Paldane, Mangaluru, along with the Catechism teachers, jointly organized a nature outing titled ‘A Day in Nature.’ As part of the program, the group visited the premises of the Holy Cross Brothers Institution located on the banks of the Sharavathi River in Honnavar, where they enjoyed the beauty of nature.

Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, the parish priest, inaugurated the trip with a prayer. In his address, he said, “Nature is a gift from God to humankind. It is an inseparable part of human life throughout the day. This trip by the Parish Council will serve as a means of unity and harmony in their future service.”

Present on the occasion were deacon Rovin Lopez, Parish Council vice president Elias Fernandes, secretary Austin Monteiro, Catechism Teachers’ coordinator Lizzy Fernandes, Spiritual Committee coordinator Priscilla (Pressie) Fernandes, ward leaders, ward representatives, presidents of various associations, and religious sisters.
