Udupi, Nov 8: Ancy Caroline D’Souza, a research scholar from NMAM Institute of Technology (NMAMIT), Nitte, has been awarded the doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.
She successfully defended her doctoral thesis titled ‘Construction of Labeled Graphs and Digraphs using Algebraic Structures’, carried out under the guidance of Dr Kumudakshi, associate professor, department of mathematics, NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte.
Ancy holds an MSc in mathematics and has rich academic experience, having served as an assistant professor at Atharva College of Engineering, Mumbai for six years, and earlier as a lecturer at Nitte Engineering College for four years.
A native of Shirva, Udupi, Ancy is the wife of Anil Lawrence D’Souza, and a proud mother of Anora and Anna D’Souza. She is the daughter of Albert D’Souza and Celine D’Souza of Shirva.
