Sitarist Ankush N Nayak performs at 150 years of ‘Vande Mataram’ celebration in presence of PM Modi

Mangaluru, Nov 7: Ankush N Nayak, sitarist from Mangaluru was part of the Grand National Music Ensemble conducted by Violin virtuoso Mysore Manjunath, which presented a unique rendition of Vande Mataram at the grand celebration of 150 years of the national song, held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on November 7th, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The performance received a standing ovation from the PM and the audience.

Also present were Gajendra Singh Shekhawat (minister of culture), Vinai Kumar Saxena (Lt governor of Delhi), and Rekha Gupta (chief minister of Delhi).
