Mangaluru, Nov 4: The students of St Theresa’s School, Bendur, Mangaluru, brought laurels to their institution by excelling in the inter-school STEM Contest 2025 organized by the Lions Club for students of classes VI to X.

In a remarkable achievement, classes VI and VIII of St Theresa’s School emerged as the overall champions in their respective categories, showcasing their scientific aptitude and innovative thinking.

Among the individual winners, Lance Castelino of class VIII secured the 2nd place, while Powell D’Souza, also of class VIII, bagged the 3rd place overall in the class VIII category. Lavith Swarna of class VI won the 3rd place overall in the class VI category.

Several other participants from the school also received consolation prizes, adding to the school’s pride and joy.

The principal, Sr Lourdes, congratulated the students for their outstanding performance and appreciated the guidance and encouragement of the teachers who mentored them. She expressed her joy over the students’ consistent efforts to explore, innovate, and excel in the field of science and technology.
