Udupi, Oct 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Udupi’s famed Sri Krishna Math on November 28 (Friday) on the occasion of Geetha Jayanthi, temple sources have confirmed.
According to reports, the prime minister is expected to arrive at the temple premises around 12 noon. He will have darshan of Lord Sri Krishna and receive prasadam, following which he will hold a private interaction with Paryaya Puttige Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji.

In connection with Geetha Jayanthi celebrations, a large-scale programme titled 'Laksha Kantha Geetha Parayana – Bruhath Geethotsava' will be held in the Sri Krishna Math parking area. Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to participate in the event, which is expected to draw a massive gathering of devotees and dignitaries.
Sources from the Math stated, “The Prime Minister’s Office has confirmed the visit, and all necessary arrangements are already being made for the occasion.”
