Mangaluru, Oct 28: The Dakshina Kannada (DK) District Table Tennis Association, under the aegis of the Karnataka Table Tennis Association, organised the inter-school table tennis tournament at St Theresa’s School, Bendur, Mangaluru, on October 25.
The tournament was inaugurated by Sr Lourdes, principal of St Theresa’s School. She was joined by Gowtham Shetty, president of the Dakshina Kannada District Table Tennis Association, and Ashwin Kumar Padukone, secretary of the Association. The event aimed at promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and competitive spirit among young aspiring players of the district.

















The day witnessed intense and exciting matches, with students displaying commendable skill, focus, and determination across various categories.

The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Dr Rohan Monis of Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr Joylene D’Almeida of Father Muller Medical College. Both dignitaries congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of all participants, encouraging them to continue honing their skills in sports.
The tournament concluded on an enthusiastic note, with special appreciation to the organisers, coaches, officials, and volunteers whose collective efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the event.
