Mangaluru to operate additional flight to New Delhi from Oct 27

Mangaluru, Oct 26: Mangaluru will get an additional daily flight to New Delhi starting October 27, boosting connectivity between the port city and the national capital.

The new service comes as Air India Express and IndiGo finalise their flight schedules at Mangaluru International Airport (IXE), operated by Mangaluru International Airport Ltd., for the period running until March 28, 2026.

According to a statement from the airport, Air India Express will introduce its second daily flight between Mangaluru and Delhi, operating as IX 1781/IX 1782, in addition to its existing service (IX 1275/IX 1276).

IndiGo continues to operate a daily flight on the same route. With this addition, three daily flights will now link Mangaluru and Delhi.

Air India Express will operate its second daily flight between Mangaluru and Delhi as follows:

  • Flight IX 1781: Departs Mangaluru at 12:30 pm and arrives in Delhi at 3:25 pm, operating daily.

  • Flight IX 1782: Departs Delhi at 4:15 pm and arrives in Mangaluru at 7:10 pm, operating daily.

This service will supplement Air India Express’s existing flight (IX 1275/IX 1276) and IndiGo’s current daily flight, bringing the total number of flights between Mangaluru and Delhi to three per day.

The airport spokesperson said, “This additional flight service is designed to meet growing passenger demand and provide greater flexibility for travellers between Mangaluru and the national capital.”
