Chitradurga, Oct 21: A shocking incident has emerged from a Vedic education school in Chitradurga, where the headmaster allegedly thrashed a nine-year-old boy for calling his parents. The video of the assault has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage among the public.

The accused has been identified as headmaster Veeresh Hiremath of the Naikanahatti Sanskrit Veda Adhyayana School. Reports allege that he brutally assaulted the student, Tarun, kicking him repeatedly even after the child pleaded for mercy. The teacher allegedly displayed extreme cruelty, striking the boy with his foot.

The incident reportedly occurred on the school premises managed under the Naikanahatti Guru Tippeswamy Temple. The disturbing visuals of the assault, captured on a mobile phone, are now widely circulating online, drawing condemnation from parents and local residents who have demanded strict legal action against the headmaster.

In a separate incident, another case of student assault has surfaced at a private school in Sunkadakatte. A class 5 student was allegedly beaten with a PVC pipe by the principal and teachers for missing two days of school. It is also alleged that the child was locked in a dark room and assaulted. The parents have lodged a complaint with the police in connection with the incident.
