Beltangady: Student loses life after prolonged illness

Beltangady, Oct 16: In a tragic incident, a second-year PU student from a private college in Beltangady passed away on Wednesday, October 15, after battling illness for several days.

The deceased has been identified as Sanvi Shetty, daughter of Yashodhara Shetty, a resident of Piligoodu in Kaniyoor village.

Sanvi had reportedly been unwell for some time and was undergoing treatment. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, her condition did not improve, and she passed away earlier on Wednesday.

The news of her untimely demise has saddened the local community and her educational institution.
