Dubai, Oct 15: The Konkan Bells, the Belthangady Varado Association established in 2011, successfully organized its 3rd Sports Meet – Championship Challenge 2025 on Sunday, October 12, at Al Manara Sports Hall, Jumeirah, Dubai.
The grand sporting event drew over 600 participants and spectators, including players, supporters, and well-wishers from across the UAE. The championship featured three major team events — throwball (men and women), kabaddi (men and women), and tug of war (mixed) — each highlighting teamwork, skill, and a strong sense of community spirit.
A total of 33 teams took part in the championship, displaying exceptional sportsmanship and determination as they vied for the top honours. The event served as a vibrant platform to bring together the Konkani community, fostering unity and enthusiasm through sports.
Konkan Bells continues to expand its reach by engaging both long-standing members and new audiences through such spirited initiatives.
