Manila, Oct 12: In a moment of immense pride for India, Sherry Singh has made history by winning the Mrs Universe 2025 crown, becoming the first Indian in 48 years to do so.
The 48th edition of the international beauty pageant was held at Okada, Manila, Philippines, where Singh emerged victorious over more than 120 contestants from across the globe.
Married for nine years and mother to a young son, Singh dedicated her historic win to women everywhere.
“This victory is not just mine; it belongs to every woman who has ever dared to dream beyond limits. I wanted to show the world that strength, kindness, and resilience define true beauty,” she told Women Fitness India.
Visibly emotional as her name was announced, Singh stood in tears of joy amidst loud cheers and a shower of confetti. Her mentor, Urmimala Boruah, National Director of UMB Pageants, praised her success:
