Mangaluru: Stage training programme conducted at Govt First Grade College, Kavoor

Mangaluru, Sep 29: Government First Grade College Kavoor, in collaboration with the college's IQAC, Lalit Kala Sangha and National Service Scheme, organized a stage training programme on Saturday, September 27 in the college auditorium.

The programme was presided over by the principal of the college, Dr Geetha ML. Vinod Raj, cultural coordinator, Govinda Das College, Surathkal, were present as resource person for the programme. Dr Therese Pereira, IQAC coordinator, Dr Santosh Pinto, Student Council coordinator, Mamatha U, NSS project officer, Lalit Kala Sangha coordinator, Krishnamurthy NB were present at the programme.

Kumari Lavanya 3rd BCom compered the programme. Prof Krishnamurthy NB welcomed everyone.

"Cultural programmes help students develop their creativity and also play a major role in personality development," said the president, Dr Geetha ML, in her presidential address, encouraging the students.

Vinod Raj, cultural coordinator, Govinda Das College, Surathkal, provided practical training to the students in theatre and taught them the art of bringing out the talent in the students and presenting it. The students participated in the programme with great joy.
