Man kills brother over 'Immoral Relationship' in Panvel

Panvel, Sep 26: A 32-year-old man, Nagesh Kale, allegedly bludgeoned his elder brother, Dattu Kale (45), to death with a stone in Panvel near Thane district, police said on Friday.

The incident occurred on Thursday evening in Karanjade Sector 5, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone III) Prashant Mohite. Police received a call about the attack at 8:37 p.m., and beat marshals Vilas Biraji Karande and Rajendra Krishna Keni reached the scene. Nagesh Kale was apprehended while trying to flee.

The DCP stated that the murder stemmed from disputes over the deceased’s relationship with his cousin’s wife, which had caused frequent fights between the brothers. A murder case has been registered at Panvel City police station, and further investigation is ongoing.
