Mangaluru: Orientation programme held at Srinivas University Institute of Allied Health Sciences

Mangaluru, Sep 22: Srinivas University Institute of Allied Health Sciences organised the Orientation Programme 2025-26 on September 22 at Srinivas University Mukka campus.

Chancellor of Srinivas University and president of the A Shama Rao Foundation, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, in his presidential address, highlighted that health is an essential part of everyone’s life. He emphasised the importance of continuous learning and seizing opportunities. He urged the students to set clear goals in life and strive to achieve them through dedication and hard work.

Pro-chancellor of Srinivas University and vice president of A Shama Rao Foundation, Dr A Srinivas Rao, said that they provide all necessary facilities to students so that they gain in-depth knowledge of their subjects, and in the future, they will succeed in life.

Trustee member of Srinivas University, A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, blessed the students with a few encouraging words. She urged them to believe in themselves, stay dedicated to their studies, and use their knowledge to serve humanity with compassion and integrity. She wished them success in every step of their journey.

Trustee member of Srinivas University, Prof Er Mitra S Rao, administered the oath and reminded the students that the medical profession is a noble calling which demands respect, responsibility, and compassion. She emphasised that allied health sciences are inseparably connected to the medical field, playing a vital role in healing and service to society.

Srinivas University vice chancellor, Dr Sathyanarayana Reddy, gave an introduction to Srinivas University.

Srinivas University registrar Dr Anil Kumar welcomed the gathering. Dean of Institute of Allied Health Sciences Prof Pavana Krishnamoorthy delivered the vote of thanks.
