Mangaluru, Sep 22: SJEC Women's football team participated and secured the II runner-up in VTU state-level women's football tournament held at SJMIT, Chitradurga on September 17 & 18.

The teams showcased remarkable skill and determination under the guidance of Vaneesha V Rodrigues, Physical Education Director (PED), and Sudheer, assistant PED.

The winning squads featured talented players from UG programmes:

Ashline D’Souza & Jenica Deanne D’Souza (7th sem AIML), Viola D’Souza & Loren Ruth Barboza (7th sem CSE), Sweedal Grace Pinto (7th sem CSDS), Sushritha (7th sem ECE), Ashika M R & Divija M G (7th sem EEE), Reola Stefi Mendonca (5th sem CSBS), Renika Yathish (5th sem AIML), Dhrathi (5th sem ME), Akshaya R Malli (3rd sem CSDS), Annal Esha Noronha (3rd sem EEE).
