Karkala, Sep 18: In the Udupi district-level inter–pre-university volleyball tournament, organized under the auspices of the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka, Udupi District, and Poornaprajna PU College, Adamaru, Kaup, three students from Christ King PU College, Karkala, have been selected to represent at the state level.
In the girls’ division, Christ King’s volleyball team secured the runners-up position. From the team, Varuna Shetty (First Year Commerce) and Shravya Shetty (First Year Science) have been selected for the state-level competition.
In the boys’ division, the Karkala taluk team secured the runners-up position. Representing the team, Shashank K Kumar (Second Year Science) from Christ King PU College has been chosen for the state-level tournament.
