Karkala: Study tour organized for commerce students of Christking PU College

Karkala, Sep 17: A horticulture study program was organized for the second-year commerce students of Christking Pre-University College. As part of this, a visit was arranged to Leela Farms in Hosmar, a horticultural estate of fruits.

There, the students learned about various native and foreign fruit varieties, methods of cultivation, harvesting, processing, and marketing.

The owners of Leela Farms, Shivananda Shenoy and his son Shravan Shenoy, provided comprehensive information on horticultural practices. The program was led by lecturers Deepak, Sukanya, and Abhinaya, and was organized by Vice Principal Prakash Bhat.
