Udupi, Sep 17: To promote entrepreneurship, SMVITM, Bantakal and Canara Engineering College, Mangalore, jointly organized the Final Pitch Day at Canara Engineering College, following a series of 17 enriching sessions aimed at nurturing the entrepreneurial mindset of students.

A total of 32 students from Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM) participated in the program, along with approximately 140 students from Canara Engineering College. The sessions were jointly facilitated by Section Infin8

A total of 14 startup ideas were pitched, with one team from SMVITM and 13 teams from Canara Engineering College being shortlisted for the final round.

The event reached its high point when the SMVITM team, represented by Neeriksha, was awarded the First Prize for the best pitch of the day.

The management, faculty, and student community of SMVITM extend their heartfelt congratulations to the student for their outstanding achievements and for bringing laurels to the institution.
